Hampstead Heights is situated in Hampstead, within the north London Borough of Camden. The property is situated on the western side of Fitzjohn’s Avenue, a short distance to the south of its junction with Lyndhurst Road. Hampstead village is approximately 500 metres (0.3 miles) to the north and the green open spaces of Hampstead Heath (0.6 miles to the north east), Primrose Hill (1 mile to the south east) and Regents Park (1.3 miles to the south) are all nearby.

Fitzjohn’s Avenue (B511) is a desirable residential address, characterised by large detached and semi detached period properties. It runs from Heath Street in the north to Finchley Road (A41) and Avenue Road (B525) in the South. Finchley Road provides access into central London via Baker Street, and also joins the A40 which leads out of London to the West.

The area benefits from excellent public transport amenities with Hampstead Underground Station (Northern Line) located approximately 650 metres to the north, while Finchley Road Underground Station (Jubilee and Metropolitan Lines) is located approximately 650 metres to the south west. Road communications are also good with the A41 located 300 meters to the south providing access north west to the M1 and south east to central London.

The area has good leisure provision with Hampstead High Street a short distance to the north and Finchley High Road approximately 650m to the south west.

Open spaces:

The much-loved St Johns Wood Park and Royal Parks of Regents Park and Primrose Hill are both very close by and are surrounded by lovely boutique cafes. The parks boast stunning views of Central London, large open spaces with tree-lined pathways, formal gardens, and four children's playgrounds. They have excellent sports facilities and contain central London's largest outdoor sports area. Why not take a walk through the elegant flowerbeds in the Avenue Gardens, see more than 12,000 roses in Queen Mary's Gardens, or hire a rowing boat and join the ducks on the boating lake. Heading slightly further out to Hampstead Heath which encompasses 320 hectares of grassland - with bathing & boating ponds, fantastic walks and wonderful picnicking - at one of the highest points in London.

Recreation:

There are plenty of gyms in the neighbourhood, from the vast Swiss Cottage leisure centre to Virgin Active. There's even a Martial Arts Centre. If you prefer to be outdoors, situated on the northern edge of The Regent's Park, London Zoo houses a collection of 755 species of animals, making it one of the largest collections in the UK and the world's oldest scientific zoo. Also, why not head down to Hampstead Heath spanning 800 acres of heath - with bathing & boating ponds, fantastic walks and wonderful picnicking.

There are great local places to eat some of which are within a short walking distance. A small selection of these include, Singapore Gardens, St Ivy's authentic British brasserie or the millennial preferred choice of Dirty Burger and Tinseltown.

Hampstead is renowned for its many beautiful boutique cafés and patisseries. Galis, Coffee Cup and the hip Bonjour Brioche café to name but a few. Other easily accessible suburbs such as Primrose hill, Belsize Park, Camden town, Regents Park and Marylebone also have a plethora of great restaurants to chose from.

Shopping:

Finchley Road is just around the corner and here, for immediate convenience as well as your weekly shop you'll find Waitrose and an M&S Simply Foods. Taking it up a level, for those in search of pure unaltered retail therapy, Oxford Street, Regent Street and Bond Street are less than 3 miles away and only two tube stops away. For some unparalleled indoor shopping, London's Westfield Shepherds Bush has over 320 stores, over 5,000 brands and is under 20 minutes drive by car.

Transport:

Finchley Road and Hampstead High street is just around the corner. Luton and Heathrow airport are 40-45 minutes away.

Tube: Hampstead (Northern Line) is less than half a mile away, which is only 4 stops away to Euston, 5 from King's Cross St Pancras International and 8 to The City. Also, Swiss cottage (Jubilee Line) is less than half a mile away, just 7 minutes to the West End, and 11 minutes to Westminster and 23 minutes to Canary Wharf. Heading in the other direction, West Hampstead and Wembley Park are just a few stops away.

Bus: Numerous buses stop nearby, including night routes, connecting with the most of Central London, the West End and North London
